iTunes Editors' Notes

After gently warming up with the swaying title track, Rudimental’s debut album immediately delivers the hard-hitting single that stormed UK singles charts in 2012, “Feel the Love.” Enlivened by a crackling drum 'n' bass groove, joyous refrain, and funky organ riff, the tune is emblematic of the rousing fusions that make Home recall early-’90s pop/dance alchemists like Massive Attack and Soul II Soul. The quartet of producer musicians at the group's core embrace an ecstatic dance-'till-you-drop ethos that's further articulated by a variety of guest vocalists (including BRIT Award Critics' Choice-winner Emeli Sandé, upcoming American rapper Angel Haze, and upstart UK soul singer Ella Eyre). Sure, there are moments of reprieve—like the downtempo, muted four-on-the-floor pulse and liquid synths of "Spoon"—but Home is at its best with crowd-pleasing, party-rocking anthems ("Waiting All Night," "Give You Up").

Customer Reviews

So-So

Wasn't sure why this was in the dance section, but after hearing a few tracks I am glad it is. Some good tracks, some bad ones but overall something refreshingly different.

People to listen

I can't even imagine better.

I listen to a lot of rap music and this is just great. Found a track after hearing John Newman's "Love Me Again". I listen to albums and like just 2 out of like 12 songs but I love this album 100%. The message, the instrumental. Good job rudimental. My bros!

Agget's DJing brought him into contact with DJ Locksmith, who joined the pair, followed later by a chance meeting with Amir Amor at a studio in Hoxton, London. Rudimental's first release, the dancehall-inspired Deep in the Valley, appeared on garage, grime, and...
