Many of the duets on this album are enjoyable and well worth the .99 cent price.
Caballe's voice continues to astound me even now as she is well into her 70s and surpasses those others who "retired" long ago. A unique, powerful, unmistakeable voice in each of these duets, and sometimes her voice is so powerful one realizes - or, hears - that she has to tone it down slightly as to not diminish the voice of her singing partner.
It's my opinion that one of the best voices to partner with Caballe's was, undoubtedly, Freddie Mercury's, who was (almost) equally as powerful. There will never be a duet partner that complements Caballe's voice as perfectly as Freddie's, but the songs on this album are pretty good, but nowhere close to the Barcelona/Mercury era.
