Editors’ Notes

The band’s gift for soaring melodies is evident throughout Ghost Stories—particularly on the magnetic first single, “Magic.” Chris Martin’s heart-rending falsetto floats along in a haze of synth-washed ambience (as on the entrancing Kid A–influenced “Midnight”) or sparely accompanied by acoustic instruments (“Oceans,” “O”). Ghost Stories demonstrates the expressive power of understatement

Customer Reviews

Not good

Wow is all I can say and in a negative way. I have been a Coldplay fan since the start. But this album seems just so simple and plain. I want them to go back to there parachutes and viva la vida days

Finally Here

Heard the two new songs!!! And WOW, cant wait for this!!!

sad to see the old coldplay gone.

i have to say, the songs that have already been released are complete trash, with repetetive computer beats and less real instruments. i miss the days of parachutes and a rush of blood to the head, but i had a bit of faith for the new album until hearing these. now i'm sure the old coldplay is most likely gone, rip. i'll miss you guys. you were radical.
