Highly Addictive

On an albums such as this you may feel inclined to listen to it quite often. I can listen to this any time of day. Opening up is "Trying to Try" which will most certainly get your toes tapping. You'll start thinking more about what's going on in your life right through "Right Right Now" (incredible lyrics, and one of my faves). When you get to "North of Pearl" you may feel your throat tightening up with emotion. Initially I thought it was a very sweet song, and now I view it as rather sad. Either way the guitar and passionately sung lyrics will stick with you; haunting actually. The album picks right back up with yet another great banjo driven song in "When Will You Be Mine". You might not be expecting "Once We Belonged", but you will fall in love with it; smooth vocals and beautiful rhythm draws you in, you won't want the song to end. "Grow" is next up, "your face always says what's on my mind" telling how things really are in a growing relationship. The album ends with another surprise: a completely solo acoustic song. A GREAT song, with vocals that will make you hunger for more, hardcore and to the point the lyrics stir you up, seductive; "The Killing Kind". This album is inventive and different. I love it.
