Customer Reviews

Quite impressed!

Sample through lots of music to find the diamonds in the rough, this band is one of those diamonds.

Different and listenable

Wow.
This group isn't unique, but the sound is still a very welcome change from so much of what's out there.
'Default' is a steady, driving solid-rock single. 'Hail Bop' is simple and melodic; the great final chorus has an uplifting melody that'll get stuck in your head.
'Hand of Man' is the slowest and softest track and free of the sometimes overdone effects of the album's other songs.

The songs aren't overly complex. They're short, catchy and memorable.
There's variety here, but not quite enough. If the four guys are to be faulted for anything, it's for overusing both the double-vocal approach and the electronic effects. Both make the overall sound more homogeneous than it needs to - or should - be. And a couple of tunes, such as Zumm Zumm, get a little tedious.

While a bit of variation in production's in order, the album is well worth buying in its entirety. Can't wait to see what's next from Django Django.

THIS IS EXCELLENT! Highly experimental!

This is a perfect album. Each track ties in perfectly with the other. Best to listen to in its entirety non-stop!

Jimmy Dixon soon stepped in to replace him, however, and graphic designer Tommy Grace joined on keyboards to complete their core lineup. By the time of the release...
