iTunes Editors' Notes

The charm in Lee Brice's sophomore effort lies in his ability to balance the bad-boy magnetism of Nashville rouges like Toby Keith with his sensitive delivery of delicately constructed ballads. There’s more of the former than the latter in the record’s single, “A Woman Like You.” But just as Brice starts to get a bit rowdy with tunes like “Parking Lot Party” and “Beer,” his affecting performances on “See About a Girl” and “I Drive Your Truck” give the record its heart.

He wasn't adverse to good times — he had a country hit in 2013 called "Parking Lot Party" — but he specialized in heart-on-sleeve ballads like "A Woman Like You," "Hard to Love," "I Drive Your Truck," and "I Don't...
