Great Way to Discover DK

I am old enough to have owned this when it came out. This is an eclectic mix of really good Dead Kennedys interspersed with oddball items. That’s not bad because that’s who they were and this isn’t a “Best Of” collection anyway. They were a product and a reflection of their times and really pushed the boundaries. Politicians and police really made the DK’s life difficult. Disaffected kids (largely the latter members of the baby boomers) were feeling lost and there was no summer of love for us. The mid 70’s and beyond brought recession, inflation, greed, and the first significant slowdown post WW2. The DK’s arrived in 1978, embraced the anarchic spirit of the UK punks, and made it very American.
