Customer Reviews

Hey Monday is awesome!

I bought this album only having heard "How You Love Me Now" and I became hooked. I love the punky vibe. My favorites are "Homecoming" and "Candles" People say they sound like Paramore, but seriously people, they are nothing alike. I'm a huge fan of both bands. HM is more pop-punk, while Paramore is alternative rock. Huge difference. Trust me. This album seriously rocks.

What?

How is she an Avril Lavigne knock-off? Haha, I don't understand you people... She has an amazing singing voice, the songs are catchy and it's just good. Nuff said.

Bleh

This won't be very thorough but this album is crap. It is better than Beneath It All and it's cute, but I don't like Hey Monday from what they've released so far. Admittedly, they're better than Avril Lavigne, /my personal opinion. But it's been done before. Not a good listen. Very cute, but so is the lead singer, which is where they're getting most of their success. Which is really annoying. They're more Paramore copies than Avril copies, and they failed. No good. Like I said, cute but not quality.

The band formed in West Palm Beach, FL, where Pope was first discovered at a regional music conference. Although still in high school, the singer drew attention from A&R execs with her voice, which recalled the radio-ready wail of Avril Lavigne and Paramore's Hayley Williams. She then formed a band with fellow teenagers Jersey Moriarty (bass), Elliot James (drums), and guitarists...
