Moody, beat-driven electro-industrial. The album effectively builds atmospheric slow-burn tracks that can boil over at any minute- most definitely worth a listen.


I'm a huge fan of Trent's work, but this one i just can't get into. I patiently await the next Nine Inch Nails album...

What will the future bring?

With the backdrop of technological paranoia this album takes you on a journey into the future, but what does that future hold for us? After the strong intro track you quickly dive into the standout tracks. Track 2: Keep it together through to track 8: How long? are the core and all fantastic. I recommend the whole album as the songs work together as a collective.

Named after a 1984 Coil single, How to Destroy Angels features Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor, former West Indian Girl singer (and Reznor's wife) Mariqueen Maandig, and Atticus Ross. Work on the project began a few months after Nine Inch Nails' final show in September 2009, and the following spring, the group made their debut with the digital single A Drowning and a video for the song “The Space in Between,” which premiered on that May. Soon after, the band made their self-titled debut...
