Good Mind Food

Well put together. The ones you should definitely get are Get Stoned and Llips of an Angel. Maybe Room 21 if you like that kind of stuff. Listen to it, you'll see what I mean. PS please rate this review helpful because karma DOES exist. No, I'm serious. It does. just kiddin'

Alternative Rock at it's Best

This CD is unreal. Every song is excellent, and if you like breaking benjamin, crossfade, seether, 10 years or evans blue, this is an album you should be buying.

Not a big fan...

I listened to this CD a few times, and I have to say, it is not all that great. It is basically your run-of-the-mill generic rock sound which is dumbed down enough to be considered as "easy listening" as to be played on your local radio station. Hinder themselves, while I'm sure are a talented group, borrow too much from similar bands which are on the charts currently; so much so, that if they had any original sound to them when they began production of this album, it was very quickly erased. This is going without commenting on how the frontman is trying so desperately to sound like a bad cross between the frontmen of Creed and Pearl Jam. To comment on "Lips of an Angel" directly, it is just another generic production which I've already heard a dozen times over. It is almost to the point that I feel this sort of sound is being mass-produced just to fill radio air-time. Overall, I cannot rate this album very highly. It has its moments, albeit very few and far between, but in the end, it is nothing more than more of the same mass-produced generic radio filler.

The three formed the nucleus of Hinder, and the group started landing local gigs opening for such bands as Theory of a Deadman. Lineup changes brought guitarist Mark King and bassist Mike Rodden into the fold, and the quintet signed with Universal after issuing a self-released EP. Their 2005 full-length debut,...
