There are ten tracks on this Marie Osmond album, I Only Wanted You. It was originally issued on the Capitol Records label in 1987, and then released on compact disk by Curb in late 1990. This offering is filled with terrific country-pop fare instead of traditional country twang. There are still some ballads to enjoy here, like "I Know the Feeling," "Cry Just a Little," and "More Than Dancing," as well as a number of upbeat tunes such as the toe-tapping fan favorite "Everybody's Crazy 'Bout My Baby." You'll find the expected guitar and bass on these songs, and the not so expected saxophone and drums. All in all, this is a pleasing mix of tunes and a really nice Marie Osmond recording to add to any country music collection.
