Urban Cowboy is a ten-track budget-priced collection that features several of Mickey Gilley's biggest hits from the '70s and early '80s including "Room Full of Roses," "Put Your Dreams Away," "Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time," "Stand by Me" and "True Love Ways." Although this isn't a bad budget-priced disc, these are re-recorded versions. There are much better collections available, like Ten Years of Hits, which doubles the number of tracks and presents the original chart-topping songs as recorded for the Epic label.
