feeling the SUMMER heat

It's been far too long since the voice of DONNA SUMMER has graced the airwaves!! This club only EP is a reintroduction to one of the worlds most incedible voices. Im a fire is a teaser track from CRAYONS, her first set of new music in 17 years to be released to be released May 20th 2008. Im a fire shows off yet another side of a voice that can tackle viturally any style of music. The original roca sound mix is a glorius hybrid of both new and old with a slight latin flavor added for good measure. Although IM A FIRE is currently shooting up the dance charts DONNAS first single STAMP YOUR FEET to be released soon, is an inescapable radio ready killler track that is not to be overlooked...GIVE A LISTEN TO THIS UNBELIEVABLE VOICE AND SEE WHY DONNA SUMMER IS STILL AS VITAL TODAY AS SHE WAS 30 YEARS AGO.

Love this song and the remixes

Can't wait for the full Crayons album. Great song and the best voice ever. Look forward to seeing live in July. By the way Itunes --- get with the program. Why is it that you can only get the new single Stamp Your Feet --- on the US I-Tunes site.... come on!

Great Remixes

The remixes are much better than the album track. Donna Summer still has an amazing voice. Hopefully the rest of the new cd "Crayons" will be as good or better than this song. The Solitaire Club Mix is the best!

Donna Summer's title as the "Queen of Disco" wasn't mere hype — she was one of the very few disco performers to enjoy a measure of career longevity, and her consistent chart success was rivaled in the disco world only by the Bee Gees. Summer was certainly a talented vocalist, trained as a powerful gospel belter, but then again, so were many of her contemporaries. Of major importance in setting Summer apart were her songwriting abilities and her choice of talented collaborators in producers/songwriters...
