Dear Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows,

This is much better than "Chiodos"!

There was a lot of hype surronding this album...and for the most part it is a solid album. The song titles are pretty interesting too.

I had high expectations, and this album surpassed every one of them

I know the year is only beginning, but this is definitely gonna be on my top best albums list of 2011. Craig Owens, as usual, sounds amazing on the record. But this is not a solo album, and the band definitely delivered as a whole. I half expected it to get boring after around track 6, but they kept it fresh and entertaining until the end. No two tracks sound the same on this album, they managed to do something unique with each one. My personal favorites so far are "Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm" and "I'm Here to Take the Sky", which reminds me an awful lot of Angels and Airwaves. "The Only Thing You Talk About" has some cool gang chanting vocals in it and arguably the catchiest chorus on the record, and of course "Sex Life" and "If You Think This Song is About You, Then It Probably Is" are simply amazing as well. "Graveyard Dancing" is not their best song, but it can hold its own weight. Not a dull moment on this album, I definitely recommend that you purchase it, especially if you like what you heard from the previews.

Recruiting drummer Aaron Stern (Matchbook Romance), guitarist Nick Martin (Underminded), guitar and keyboard player Matt Good (From First to Last), and bassist Adam Russell (Story of the Year) the lineup of Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S.) was completed and announced in 2010. The band went straight into the studio...
