This CD is amazing! The songs are so well-written telling a unique story every time. The melodies are very original and catchy. Its an awesome album the whole way through. Definitely worth the listen. JBS is a very refreshing drink in the hot rock world. I've also seen them in concert and they totally rock it like pros. And, well, all the guys are pretty cute too!

Yippey...another Creed/Daughtry/Nickelback/Theory Of A Dead Man/etc etc. Just what this world needs. Good job guys. At least they'll get good record sales using this washed up, boring song scheme...

This is a great album for only $6.99 sure it sounds like nickelback and Daughtry but they do have their own touch on the sound.
I would say this is one of the lighter sounding albums out of the bands that have that nickelback-esque sound but still good altogether.
For the price you can't go wrong buying this.

About Jet Black Stare

Vancouver hard rock group Jet Black Stare were founded in 2007 by Rod Black (vocalist), who started writing songs after becoming frustrated with the creative direction of his former band. After meeting Shane Hayes (bass), Black formed Jet Black Stare (the name was inspired by a photo of Johnny Cash) with Hayes, Flip (guitar), Dave Muselman (guitar), and Dan Swinimer (drums). The group signed with Island and worked with songwriter/producer Jeff Johnson on its debut album, In This Life, which was released in July 2008. ~ Katherine Fulton
