Album Review

A leading light on the progressive house scene, John Digweed brings together more electronic music from his Bedrock production house on this collection. Structures features 33 tracks selected and programmed by Digweed, including songs by Mutant Clan, Rowdent, Wiretappeur, Saints & Sinners, King Unique, and Guy J, as well as new remixes from Digweed, Nick Muir, John Daly, Pete Heller, Marco Bailey, and Wehbba. The original release also included a DVD featuring a documentary on John Digweed, and footage of Digweed spinning at an event in Miami in early 2010.

I have to agree with the other poster, where is John Digweed. Beautifully mixed but completely inane. Takes you on a journey to nowhere. Sad really. It's worth the price of the unmixed tracks tho.

I like it

Well ill buck the trend and say its my favourite digweed, then again I'm into the more ambient stuff and listening to it through shure 836 so its pretty amazing.

He was soon working alongside the likes of another popular Renaissance DJ, Sasha. The new position gave the DJ what he needed for his big breakthrough, and he has continued to prosper ever since. Soon a Renaissance CD compilation containing some of Sasha and John's best remixes was released. The album was a surprise huge seller, warranting a follow-up, Renaissance...
