Coldplay controversy aside, this is an amazing album.

I bought this album a month ago, and since then I have listened to nothing else. Simply put this album is absolute magic. The music feels so fresh, mind you some of the songs do use alot of the overused progressions from the 1950's. But still somehow it sounds completely unique and like nothing you have ever heard before. They are happy songs with a rather depressing undertone. This is the perfect soundtrack to your spring.

Creaky Boards emerged in New York in 2004 as an eccentric, bright-eyed anti-folk duo comprised of singer/songwriter Andrew Hoepfner and trumpet player Jason Benjamin. The duo generated a bit of buzz in the New York anti-folk scene and went on to perform at high-profile venues like the Knitting Factory and the 2004 Summer Antifolk Fest.
