Customer Reviews

trashy, not classy.

I watched the show and I was actually happy with the girls they chose, but then i see the music videos and they are just disgusting. Are they honestly that bad of singers that they need to strip down to their underwear and zoom in on their privates to get fans? This is just getting ridiculous, and they aren't being role models at all. There is a line between being confident and just being a sleeze. They have crossed this line.

Wake up people...

Girlicious I must admit is really hot and sexy, but this aint anything good for the world. The Pussycat Dolls are way better than this, much less provocative and much much less sassy. These girls look like dumb, sell my body to the devil girls. Not much talent, just sexy and belong in a strip club.

Am I missing something?...

Robin Antin and the rest of the Pussycat Doll team have said that the message behind the Pussycat Dolls and Girlicious is to be yourself, have fun, and have confidance. I've heard them mention a few times things like how little girls will look up to them, will look at them as role models...anyone who thinks that has clearly lost it. I mean, have you seen the Stupid S*** music video?! THEY ARE STRIPING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET!!! What little girl will look up to that?! And see that little sign beside the picture of the album above? Ya, it says PARENTAL ADVISORY EXPLICIT CONTENT. Doesn't that say something?! If they still think that Girlicious is a role model for young girls, they need to get their priorities straight. Girlicious might be talented, but they are definitly not role models. Sorry Girls, but it's true.

Following in the wake of the multi-platinum girl group Pussycat Dolls came Girlicious, a pop quartet whose music was also rooted in sexually charged slick R&B/pop. The group consists of Nichole Cordova, Tiffanie Anderson, Chrystina Sayers, and Natalie Mejia, and was formed in 2008 by Robin Antin, creator and founder of the Pussycat Dolls. In order to capitalize on the success that her first pop group had achieved across the globe, Antin produced a reality television program to search for the next...
