Nothing short of fantastic

I stumbled upon I'm Good, I'm Gone in an episode of Grey's Anatomy, and I was so impressed I did my research to find an EP; but iTunes was missing an album, this one in fact! I am so glad they added it! I will go through track by track: #1. Melodies & Desires has a strangely sweet quality to it, but is not a neccesity for this album (4/5) #2. Dance x3 is quite a lovely track, and very enjoyable, but not 100% rememberable (4.5/5) #3. Arguably the best track on the album, impossibly catchy and very tuneful (5/5) #4. One of my favorites, but I am not a huge fan of the "So happy"'s (4/5) #5. An amazing track, the 2nd slowest on the album, but is still very catchy (4.5/5) #6. Another elite track, a very beautiful chorus (5/5) #7. It takes a while, but this is one of the strongest songs (4.5/5) #8. To be honest, one of the weaker ones, but the chorus saves it (3.5/5) #9. It is a dialogue, so it is tricky to review, but the instrumental and lyrics are amazing (5/5) #10. A very great track, but a lot more electronic than the rest (4/5) #11. My personal favorite on the CD, crazy, wild, but totally charming, like this CD in general (5/5) #12. Another extremely strong track, in many ways, similiar to Tonight and Time Flies (4.5/5) #13. An incredeibly powerful track (5/5) #14. Not a great ending (3.5/5) Overall, this album is amazing, and Lykke proves she can do all tempos. The only 2 songs I thought were "OK" were Hanging High and Window Blues, which are only considered of this quality because of how great the rest of the tracks were; put them on an Avril Lavigne CD, and you get the 2 best tracks she has ever made! A must buy, but not for the judgemental or for those against abstract music (Gwen Stefani doesn't count). Also, I am very disappointed to say that while all ages can go to a 50 Cent concert (I don't know why you would want to), a Lykke Li concert is A MATURE RATING! What?!?! There are no vulgar lyrics or suggestive content, the only reason this is in place because her venues are clubs, but you are more likely to get shot or put in danger at a 50 Cent concert than at Lykke Li's, because I don't know many thugs who like alternative music (no offense thugs).

This is a keeper!

Ok seriously, this is really good! It doesn't happen all that often that you find an album that is completely enjoyable all the way through. From the first moment of every song I was completely drawn in. Love it!!

YAY- another good find!

This music makes me smile.

The Swedish indie pop artist Lykke Li Zachrisson (better known as Lykke Li) grabbed the attention of international bloggers in the early 2000s with a handful of catchy, retro-chic singles made available on her MySpace profile. Armed with sensuous, barely there vocals and backed up by a quirky, bass-heavy electro dance sound (courtesy of producer Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John), Lykke Li released her debut EP, 2007's Little Bit, on her own fledgling LL Recordings label. The disc's title track...
