Customer Reviews

Excellent Soledad Bravo

This album contains several songs in Spanish and one in French: Gottingen. It has songs with Flamenco roots such as Anda Jaleo, Rota Oriental and Coplas de la Amapola. Some songs come from the Cuban Nueva Trova such as El Rey de las Flores, La vida no vale Nada. Others have venezuelan folklore roots. There is a couple of mexican songs as well. In this great variety, Soledad Bravo with her powerful, although never exagerated voice, gives masterpiece performances. There are a couple of songs with the cuatro (small venezuelan 4 cord instrument). Zumba que Zumba and Pajarillo Verde. Beutiful interpretation and incredible selection.
