not just slash, its the snakepit.

wicked album but the artist isnt just slash even though he is amazing. the whole band deserves credit, and the name of that band is slash's snakepit. but all in all, many good songs on this album.

Great Music.

I really like the really organic kind of sound in beggers and hangers on and the rest of the songs are pretty good too. Its worth listening to and certainly buying it wouldn't be a mistake. I love slash and I'm glad they put the lead singer from "Blind Melon" in there, it fits nicely.

Slash's Snakepit formed as a direct result of Slash's continuing disagreements with former partner Axl Rose over the musical direction of Guns N' Roses. While working on a follow-up to the hugely successful Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II records, Slash's affinity for more traditional Aerosmith meets Led Zeppelin-type rock & roll was continually at odds with Rose's growing interest in industrial music.
