Combining the sophistication of a 60-piece orchestra with the explosive sonic punch of a heavy metal band, this Christmas celebration from Trans-Siberian Orchestra has everything we love about the holiday season. TSO's hard-chugging "Ornament" is somehow both solemn and raucous, like an aria from an opulent rock opera, while their contemplative "Christmas/Sarajevo 12/24" combines elements of the familiar "Carol of the Bells" with an original tune for an epic onslaught of hard-rocking pageantry and joy.

They are incredible in concert and on their cd. So uplifting and truly superb! Thumbs up!!!

powerful and strong

This cd has a very powerful and strong interpertation of traditional christmas songs. I loved the mix of music themes in each songs and found them to be to be dramatic and moving. This cd can certainly bring about the spirit of christmas in a very non traditonal way.
