Oh, Dear...

Looking for another catchy single like "Lost in the Plot"? Sorry. It's not here. More Scud than Trident, Missiles misses the mark. The first track comes across flat despite an attempt to create instrumental variety with a saxophone. It has potential, but the drums and overall beat are too sedate. It's a lack lustre introduction; fire the producer for this track alone. The songs pick up in clarity and direction from track 2 onward but don't deliver anything memorable. The good news? These songs will sound good live.

Best album yet, in my opinion and best to listen to in its entirety (except for Money Babies, which still annoys me for some reason). "Saviour" is a track I never tire of. Grand, beautiful, quality music.

Oh my god, this album is incredible! 2 words.. Original Masterpiece =) I Have to see them live now!

Lightburn's vision for the band is to create music out of real emotions, often giving his performances the feel of a musical therapy session. Given the level of intensity that this vision can require, it's not surprising that the Dears have endured...
