🎹 I have been an avid fan of Klaus Wunderlich's for years, I mean YEARS, but his music is so hard to find. 😳 Not on iTunes though. Oh my goodness, I am just SOOOOOO happy to find you have some, and not just two or three either!!! 💋
Did you know that every note of his music is done by him? No band behind him, it's all done on his fabulous organs. I bought a Hammond organ eons ago but am, in no way, close to his level.
Thank you iTunes for making me such a happy woman today. (And for as long as I own iPads.) now I can take his music wherever I go

Klaus Wunderlich was born to a policeman in the Saxony town of Chemnitz in 1930. As a teenager he worked for the local opera rehearsing singers but soon chose popular music over classical. By 1951 he was ready to tour West Germany, which led to a standing gig at the Tiny Cabaret Simple in Mannheim. Here he was playing winsomely in a beer hall, and the owner and patrons liked him enough to buy an expensive organ. Then Telefunken found and signed him.
