Editors’ Notes

George Harrison's solo career features an abundance of songs that showcase his dedication to the art of songwriting. His ability to balance lofty spiritual concerns within the framework of a pop song was one of his greatest strengths and it's one well-documented on this collection of previously unreleased recordings. Demo versions of "All Things Must Pass" and "My Sweet Lord" unveil songs of sweet melancholy and rapturous melody—even at their most raw core. Covers of songs by influences such as Bob Dylan and The Everly Brothers are perfect vehicles for him—mixing up soulful yearning and tuneful invention.

For any Beatles fan or Harrison fan, this is a great collection. Simple, reflective and beautiful. It's such a loss that he isn't with us anymore. Great album.

Like Fine Wine

A very special album from my favorite Beatle - insightful song writing heard without the studio fluff...Great!

He preferred sly provocations to larger-than-life bravado. Harrison's measured, considered persona was reflected in his music, particularly his clean, composed lead guitar parts but also...
