a first is a first

I generally just turn a blind eye to this album and pretend that ASP started with Price of Existence. This album, being their first release, just doesn't stack up to the subsequent releases, nor does it spiritually precede them. It's simply not good enough. Bottom line: buy only if you're a die-hard ASP fan. Songs of note: Deconstruction, and last 30 seconds of Herding the Brainwashed

A Deathcore Essential

Not as traditionally deathcore as The Price of Existence, but my favourite All Shall Perish (and deathcore) album. For all looking at this album, it would be hard to pass up the excellently written vocals, the brutal riffs, the punishing breakdowns, and all of the hours you will enjoy listening to it (I count about 60 hours). All skepticism aside, if you are not a big fan of this album, I would recommend The Price of Existence otherwise. All Shall Perish is unrivalled when it comes to deathcore.
