i have been so stoked all day for this - more like all month haha. but yeah i listened to it on the leak a few times within the past week and i thought it was amazing, sure its a bit beetles-esque but definately not a copy more of an inspiration. nice work boys!

Totally different style the second time around boys =). Amazing once again, You boys are always full of surprises and it's what seperates you from all the other bands! Once again congrats on your second album! Kudos, -Must Listen!

Things Are Really Shaping Up To Be Pretty. Odd.

When I heard it on The Leak, I didn't like it. I was upset that they changed their sound and what not but I still decided to pick up the album after school. Once I played it in the car, I started to fall in love with the band all over again. Yes, it isn't big beat and techno like last time but you have to give them props. They changed their sound yet it still differs from the mainstream stuff that's on the top of the charts. I'm glad they didn't recycle their old sound, I would have gotten bored of it. When I listen to Fever and compare it to this album, they matured a lot. Vocal and lyric wise, it's gotten way better. Brendon actually seems to be more into the songs and Ryan has gotten better at writing. Some of the songs make me feel like I'm suspended in time, if that makes any sense. I pretty much bashed all the songs and didn't give them a chance prior to the release. Now I can say that they have grown on me and that I really like them. I can't find any flaws in this album, Pretty. Odd. is perfectly crafted and genius. Besides the fact that Folkin' Around makes me cringe, the rest of the album makes up for it. On that note, I'm ordering the Deluxe edition on the Fueld By Ramen site, sometime this week. And going off topic a bit, I'm getting tired of everyone getting upset over the fact that they dropped the ! in their name. It seems that it's the only thing that some people can focus on other then the music based on half the comments left on their Myspace page.

Formed: 2005 in Las Vegas, NV

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

The members of Panic! At the Disco had barely graduated high school when their full-length debut, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, transformed the suburban Las Vegas teens into national emo-pop stars. The band had materialized several years earlier, when friends Spencer Smith (drums) and Ryan Ross (guitar) began covering blink-182 tunes together. After tiring of playing another group's material, they recruited two additional classmates, guitar/vocalist Brendon Urie and bassist Brent Wilson, and the newly...
