Hey, for everyone out there complaining that these dudes are AC/DC knockoffs... Let me just start by saying that I am a religious AC/DC fan and I agree that nobody will ever be able to replicate them. But just let me remind you that EVERY band in rock and roll history has in some way taken after Elvis, the Beatles, the Stones, etc. all the way down the line. If they hadn’t, we wouldn’t have rock and roll today! But let’s face it, bands like AC/DC won’t be around forever. Frankly with all the talentless sh** being forced down our throats these days, it’s nice to see these guys ready to bring the TRUE rock and roll back! Rock on, Airbourne!

Good old fashion rock and roll!

These guys are one of the last TRUE Rock and Roll band. As long as they are still playing Rock and Roll will never die!

Party rock lives

I really enjoyed this album and really dig this band. I am a huge AC/DC fan and can obviously hear their massive influence here, but there is an additional energy Joel brings as both the vocalist and lead guitar. I miss the party rock of the 80's and I think this album brings that back. Good album. Good times. GREAT LIVE SHOWS!

Formed: 2004 in Warrnambool, Australia

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Airbourne are a straightforward rock band in the Aussie pub rock tradition of AC/DC, the Angels, and Rose Tattoo: four guys with beers in hand who would rather die than be caught wearing a pink shirt. The brothers Joel and Ryan O'Keeffe grew up in the country town of Warrnambool, with a collection of classic Australian rock albums stolen from their uncle. When everyone around them was listening to contemporary music, they were firmly entrenched in the music of the '70s and '80s they longed to re-create....
