Though a definite downshift from the stadium-sized pyrotechnics of Automatic or Fire & Ice, the connection is still clear, from the skeletal, classic-house thump of “Show of Hands” and “Tell Me” to the '90s-style club-pop of “Nobody Like You,” which harks back to the earliest hybrids of dance and pop.
