Great Album. I Am Ghost combines amazing guitar choruses with a guy-girl singing harmony and a good beat to make an excellent album. BUY IT NOW!

definatley not like MCR. MCR is horrible. This album is amazing. Definatley worth buying.

... Yes, I typically review albums I like (I don't get why people review things they don't like, waste of time) Lover's Requiem was a stand-out for me. In a time and place where bands are changing their sound to fit the mainstream, IAG doesn't. Crossing The River Styx - 4/5* The two minute epic. I always love I Am Ghost's openers, The Dead Girl Epilogue was better however. Our Friend Lazarus Sleeps - 5/5* This was one of the song's that got me started on I Am Ghost, great choice for a single. Killers Like Candy - 4.5/5* Yes this is a popular song by them, with every right to be, it is fantastic musically and for the most part lyrically. Dark Carnival of the Immaculate - 5/5* This song doesn't get as much credit as it should. This song is darker than most on "Lover's" but worth a listen at the very least. Pretty People Never Lie, Vampires Really Never Die - 4/5* A re-make from their first album, much higher quality, however, because I had the old album before this, it isn't special. Of Masques and Martyrs - 5/5* The intro guitar got me hooked in the beginning, and now one of the more repeated songs by IAG on my iPod. Lovers Requiem - 5/5* The title track. My favorite song by IAG of all time. Amazing in every aspect, as a title track should be. Would've given higher rating if possible. We Are Always Searching - 5/5* Same with Vampires, a repeat, but this is my favorite song on their older album (Asides from Dead Girl Epilogue) The Ship of Pills and Needed Things - 4.5/5* This song has something missing, I'm not sure what, but it's almost there, asides from that, enjoyable. The Denouement - 4.5/5* As the title states, I would've put this song as the last song. This song is all over the place, and in three minutes, that's really well done. This Is Home - 4/5* This song was rather average compared to everything else on the album, still worth a listen, maybe it's for you, didn't do it for me. Beyond the Hourglass 5/5* A longer version of the Denouement in a sense, but not an album ender, which the Denouement would've been, but that's my personal taste. Overall, there isn't a track I don't like, I would've changed their ordering a bit though.

Formed: 2004 in Long Beach, CA

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s

First, back in the early flush of punk, there was the alluringly spooky Siouxsie and the Banshees, followed quickly by the reunited second go-round of the Damned, when singer Dave Vanian's comic book interpretations of Dracula and other horror-themed subjects were the band's primary focus. Then, in the mid-'80s alongside the multi-genre flowering of goth culture, there was both the hard-edged and punky Los Angeles "death rock" scene established by .45 Grave and Christian Death and the goofy, glammy...
