"Hot Chip will break your legs," taunt the UK group on "The Warning"—but don't believe it. Despite the occasional lyrical barb, the band's second album radiates infectious good cheer. The sweet vocal harmonies of "Boy From School" and the psychedelic flourishes of "Over and Over" gave the decade two enduring indie-pop classics; elsewhere, they expand their musical horizons with glockenspiel, thumb piano, and knotty electro rhythms that will have you scrambling for the dance floor.
