iTunes Review

Lisa Marie Presley's latest album, Storm & Grace, is an elegant and subdued collection of bluesy rock ‘n’ roll songs with shades of country and western, produced by GRAMMY® winner T Bone Burnett. The bittersweet “Over Me” swings like it could’ve come straight from her famous father’s era, while “Soften the Blows” is a sorrowful, bucolic ballad. The real draw here is Presley’s distinctive voice, a complex alto that’s both sultry and melancholy.

I absolutely don't have a bad word to say about this album. Lisa puts her heart and soul into both the writing and performing of these songs and it shows. This album will be a favorite for a long time to come - thanks, Lisa.

royal blood

there is a scene in Johnny Cash's video of God's gonna Cut you down, in which Lisa Marie appears in a way that etches her face into your soul. As she breaks through each song on this album, each song seems like more of an effort than the the previous one, until you realise that it does not matter in which order you listen to them. if I were inclined to overplay an album it would be this one, if I were inclined to overplay a song I am not sure I could choose. Each song is soul ful and yet subtley bristels with some venom. Un- Break lyrically explores the questions we all want to ask, but dont, but more importantly it Lisa Marie delivers it in a way that makes you feel you have the answer. "Soften the Blows" , leaves you wanting more, and "so long " puts an end to moments of time when we cant explain why we were ever there.
this album deserves to be overplayed, and Lisa Marie's voice deserves to be etched in your soul.....

A really stunning, haunting album. The melodies of each song are so unique, and it seems like Lisa Marie has finally found a solid style to call her own. This album is a step up from her previous releases, which were good, but not great. I saw her perform "You ain't seen nothin yet" on TV recently, and it was done is such a gorgeous way. She's really coming into her own with this record.

As the only child of rock & roll's first and most celebrated star, Lisa Marie Presley had to work extremely hard to establish herself, far away from her famous father. It was a rough road, but Lisa Marie had the spark and rawness to do it, and to do it on her own terms. Born to Elvis and Priscilla Presley on February 1, 1968, Elvis' only daughter spent the first four years of her life at Graceland, where she was the apple of her father's eye. When her parents split in 1972, Lisa Marie left Nashville...
