Mellower than usual

I had a dream about Foetus last night -- and that's why I bought this album. He's grimey and macho and violent. I miss that in my life. His music often feels like a porn movie that's half satire of itself. Angry, fun, and wrong. A guilty pleasure. This album is a little quieter and gentler than I am used to from Foetus. Is that why he called it "LOVE" instead of his usual "GA$H" and "RIFE" and so on? Here he's an aggressive lover, instead of a violent sadist. Still, that's kind of nice. He's maturing, I'm maturing. Enjoyable as always, but I wish he would occasionally kick me in the teeth and spit on me, the way he used to. Now that was love.
