Nihilistic Feelings

This Rancid album is straight ahead punk rock and roll, it is that simple. The song structures are not complex but that is perfectly fine for the style of music Rancid is playing on this album. The tempos and style do not change drastically from song to song, most of the songs are loud and fast, and the lyrical content speaks of honest portrayals regarding urban street life (from a lower-class point of view). I love this album for what it is and what it is not: "Let's Go" presents Rancid in their purest and simplest form and that is perfectly fine by me.
