reen day is a good band and all, but honestly does itunes really believe anyones going to pay 100 dollars fr and album when any greeen day fan probally has most of these songs already, plus chances are youll only end up having at the most 8 songs on ur repeat, so this is pretty much a huge rip off, and i dont believe one person will buy this, who has the money?

For What Its Worth

The price may be a little unreasonable, but however, reading some of the past comments, it seems to me like every album they have made over the years is here. And they've even included bonus tracks for songs that have been made for other albums (Instant Karma, etc). I do not wish to purchase this because you can just go out and buy most if not all of their albums for a cheap price. If your someone who doesn’t get out much, or just prefers iTunes as an ideal music source, the $99.99, seems worth it, because when you think about it, each song is $1.29 now, and that’s only cause they have created this "new album", of everything they've recorded. Plus in some way, you get a deal of getting roughly 175 songs for practically $100.00.

With that said, it's totally up to the listener, and whether they want to pay the money, just to have every recorded song from their favourite band, and listen to each song maybe once? I personally listen to a select handful of Green Day's songs.

Out of all the post-Nirvana alternative bands to break into the pop mainstream, Green Day were second only to Pearl Jam in terms of influence. At their core, Green Day were simply punk revivalists who recharged the energy of speedy, catchy three-chord punk-pop songs. Though their music wasn't particularly innovative, they brought the sound of late-'70s punk to a new, younger generation with Dookie, their 1994 major-label debut. Dookie sold over ten million copies, paving the way for a string of multi-platinum...
