Definitely Recommended

The Rankins have done it again! I love their new album. They have a great new sound and I especially enjoyed the "Breathe Dream Pray Love," "Straight Into Love," and "Never Alone." I love the lyrics, especially in "Never Alone" and "Breathe Dream Pray Love" - the messages are great! I am really happy they are singing again. I recommend it to all Rankin lovers and even to those who didn't like their songs from the 80's and 90's because their new style is awesome.

Re: Whos Cares by BellaSwan1

Some clarification is needed here. The Rankins weren’t popular in the ‘50s, Elvis was. You are four decades off. Their breakout album “Fare Thee Well Love” was nationally released in 1990 and has received national and international acclaim since. You go on tour to promote your album, meet up with your fans, and hopefully make a little money, not “make enough money to go on tour”. I don’t know where you are living, but in Canada the Rankins have a solid fan base and will have no problem drawing fans to their concerts. By reading your review with its spelling and grammatical errors I assume you’re in your early teens. Perhaps in time you will learn to appreciate music from the heart such as this. Regarding the album, this is an enjoyable release from Heather, Raylene, Cookie and Jimmy. It’s drifts from the Celtic flavours from past efforts but still carries the rich vocals one would expect from the Rankins. Good to see the four back together. Hope your tour includes Huntsville again.

Remarkable!!! That's all I can say!!!

Timeless treasures, masterpieces, gems, I can go on and on but I think you get the message!!! What outstanding harmonies, songwriting and tallent these folks have. For years they have broken the barriers of traditional celtic music and now they have once again put out an album that is breathtaking. Please, don't take my word for it, download it for yourself otherwise you will be missing out on one of the best albums ever made. Period.

Canada's Rankin Family got their start singing and dancing in their hometown of Mabou, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
