one of the best

i love this!!! It's the first album that they made!!!!!!

1978 album that revolutionized guitar sounds/

This an amazingly well 'produced' first, yes first, album that not only rocks at first listen, but becomes compelling over time. It revolutionized the guitar sound/artistry; and raised the bar for guitar-hero wannabes, and eyebrows of guitar legends. In front of Eddie Vanhalen was the one-for-the-time- front man, David Lee Roth, stage presence & vocal histrionics on a perfect 'diva' train - Yes, I saw them live in '78 at Maple Leaf Gardens in T.O. This is a great album. I hope the transfer of sweet analogue to digital was mastered properly so you can hear everything as it was originally created.

It was wildly inventive and over the top, equaled only by vocalist David Lee Roth, who brought the role of a metal singer to near-performance...
