awesome

this has to be one of the greatest rock songs ever released

Before I discovered the Grateful Dead.......

Late spring of 72, just getting ready to throw off the dust of grade 7 and with high school looming, Alice Cooper kicked in my bedroom door with Schools Out. I had never experienced such instant nervana. I was sold after the first chorus and at that moment ,according to my parents, I developed the bad attitude that Im still working on 41 years later. Schools Out is a great song all on its own, but this album has so much more to offer. Listen carefully to the lyrics on this album and it quickly becomes apparent that in spite of the overt violence captured in Gutter Cat and Public Animal, there is a lot of humor to be found.Hardly the menace that frightened many a parent, icluding my own, Alice Cooper were pure camp. Thanks in large part to the masterful production work by Bob Ezrin this album should be considered not only The Alice Cooper Groups magnum opus, but perhaps one of rocks truly epic albums
