A classic Pop album that is ageless

An online article on 70's prog rock that mentioned Shawn Phillips and its Second Contribution album brought me right back to this gem of an album.

I was surprised at how this collection of songs have not aged and could be released today with the same acclaim it got back in 1971 (yes, I am that old to remember...)

This album and its long-titled first track (She Was Waiting for Her Mother At The Station in Torino..... or better know as "Woman") was the one of my favorite of that year. To rehear it again is a joy.

If you do not know this album, you are in for a great surprise. If you do, welcome back to a classic
