Album Review

The ultimate New Traditionalist factory songwriter, Overstreet's best work is the series of hits he wrote (usually with Don Shlitz) for Randy Travis in the 1980s. On his own, as evidenced by this collection, he's a bit too obsessed with convincing everybody that he's a good Christian man who just can't wait to get home to his wife. There's more to life — and music — than family values, no matter how you define them.

Best of Paul Overstreet

I can't believe that someone would write such a stupid Album the one that is written on this page.

It was refreashing, uplifting, and warm.

Great Work

Paul Overstreet has many very good albums. He simply doesn't write a bad song, they are all good. The album review at the top of the page is obviously written by someone with a bias against this man and his values. Can't understand why you would write a review trying to turn people off anyway, I thought they wanted to make money here. Paul Overstreet is awesome!

Stick with the truth, and keep bringing the reality on the table, and let God take it from there

Good job Paul!

Despite his efforts, Overstreet couldn't break into the industry. Eventually,...
