If it didnt have the name PWEI.....

This album might be ok if Graham had stuck with the Vile Evils name but reverting to the PWEI name has lofty expectations and this new album doesnt meet them sadly. I wanted to love it and gave it repeated listens but it just comes up as bland and boring compared to previous efforts. No sample heavy PWEI here, which was always one of the biggest attractions to their music as it gave repeated listens more for the listener to discover. Take away the samples and it's weak alt rock, relying too much heavy guitars rather than beats.

Lastly, the songs just arent up to scratch. Graham has written some classic PWEI songs but the hooks arent there now and it just comes off as a lazy album with formula choruses.

Too bad as this could have been great......heck, I would have been happy with this being ok.
