that was a cool album

Great album. I don't think that there is a single track on that album that doesn't rock. The Offspring perfected their distinctive sound, while selling 11 million copies and becoming the most successful independent album of all time.

3rd best Offspring album!

Smash is an exceptional album, In my opinion it's the third best Offspring album ever realeased. It's not as good as their self titled debut, their self tittled debut was absoultley breath taking and so was Ignition. But Smash is not quite as good as those two previous realeases. Here's a quick run down of all the songs on a scale of one to ten. Nitro (Youth Energy): 9.0/10 Bad Habit: 9.0/10 Gotta Get Away: 9.0/10 Genocide: 9.0/10 Something To Believe In: 8.0/10 Come Out And Play: 9.5/10 Self Esteem: 8.5/10 It'll Be a Long Time: 9.5/10 Killboy Powerhead: 7.0/10 What Happened to You?: 7.0/10 So Alone: 6.5/10 Not The One: 6.0/10 Smash: 9.5/10 So Overall a really good album, I recommend it for any Offspring fan or anyone who is looking to get into their music.

While the group's credentials and approach follow the indie rock tradition of the '80s, sonically the Offspring sound more like an edgy, hard-driving heavy metal band, with their precise, pulsing power chords and Dexter Holland's flat vocals. Featuring Holland, guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, bassist Greg Kriesel, and drummer Ron Welty, the Offspring released...
