Oddisee has stepped up his game to produce his best album to date. Beautiful rhythms, strings, baselines and rhymes make this an enjoyable album that will be amazing for summer jams.

Every song a triumph...

Heard 'Superficial' as part of Google's Nexus Qube announcement earlier this year. Loved the sound and investigated further. Wow! Instant big fan. Sophisticated, strong brass and string arrangements with hip hop undertones. Mature rap with poignant messages. Love the retro sound touches. No denying Oddisee's talent. A five star album in my library.

This album is one of if not THE most slept on this year. Must buy

Born in Washington, D.C., to a Sudanese father and an African-American mother, Amir Mohamed grew up in Maryland, influenced by soul and rap as well as the myriad of musicians on both sides of his family. He was all set to attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia, however, to pursue visual art when a friend of his introduced him to hip-hop producing. He was so enamored by it that he changed his plans and concentrated on making beats, ending up with the track "Musik Lounge" on DJ Jazzy Jeff's 2002...
