Very moving

This album shows off the tremendous diversity that choral music can be. Their version of Billy Joel's Goodnight My Angel is nothing short of angelic and made me weep. Blue Skies has a melancholic quality which gave me shivers, especially the opening bars. The spiritual, Down To the River to Pray, translated very well into the choral genre, something difficult to do. Blackbird is equally relaxed yet precise, and The Wishing Tree, complex and inventive. After the Goldrush is ethereal and makes Neil Young's lyrics the centrepiece. It's short but an excellent album you won't be disappointed with.

I absolutely admire their voices in down to the river to pray. Along with all the other songs this is just excellent!
