The Best Album Of 2004- Hands Down!

The Killers are so much different than everyone else out there, like Green Day, Sum 41 & Blink-182. They all have that same hard rock, loud guitar sound to them (i like all of those bands as well!) but with the Killers, their synth-pop sound is blended with "indie rock & roll", and that's what makes them so much different and unique from the other bands, yet they're so much alike. This album is worth your time- Mr. Brightside is one of the best songs out there! Also, the lesser known songs, like On Top, Change Your Mind, Believe Me Natalie & Midnight Show- they all deserve a listen along with their hits, Somebody Told Me & All These Things That I've Done! I love the Killers! ROCK ON!!! <3

Incredible album, best of the year!

This is a really great album. I usually buy cds and just listen to the songs I know from videos or radio, but this one was different. I just let it play in my room and fell in love with every single song. They may have taken influences from other bands, but I think the way that Brandon and the boys have mixed it together is truly original. Now, even 18 months later, Hot Fuss is still my favourite cd!

Few bands in the early 2000s rose so quickly to the forefront of pop music as the Killers. With a mix of '80s-styled synth pop and fashionista charm, the band's street-smart debut, Hot Fuss, became one of 2004's biggest releases, spawning four singles and catapulting the group -- particularly their dandyish, 22-year-old frontman, Brandon Flowers -- into the international spotlight. Hot Fuss reveled in the garish glitz of the band's native Las Vegas, spinning tales of androgynous girlfriends and illicit...
