Brilliant debut

This is a must for any one who likes good beats well written lyrics and a genuine meaning from a talented young lady, whos not afraid to really put herself into her music instead of another "Idol" factory pop over marketed rubish act, best debut album in a long time.

My first listening encounter was during Live Earth and I must say I was instantly blown away by this young, beautiful Aussie. Highly recommended and completely uplifting. Intense lyrics and flowing instrumentation. Hope she can break into North America. The ablum is worth the investment.

She has an amazing voice but the lyrics of her music is really what sets her apart from so many other singers. The truest way to enjoy this music is to find the lyrics on line and follow along with every song. She truly is an amazing singer/songwriter. Her lyrics are raw and emotional and if you do not personally relate then you feel like you are on a journey with her. My personal favourites - All for Believing, Don't Ever, Ten Days, Nightminds, Any Day Now, The Special Two, They Weren't There. Even though I have pinpointed these songs you will not be disappointed by any songs on this album.

Higgins' sister got ahold of "All for Believing," one of Missy's earliest songs, and mailed a copy to Australia's Triple J radio station without her sister's consent. The song ended up winning an unsigned artist competition...
