Vanilla Fudge Fan writes

Listen closely to one of the most refined bands of its time and you'll hear how they influenced many who came after. Forging a bridge from Rhythm and Blues, they helped create that heavy metal sound that many bands emulated in the 70's, 80's and beyond. I remember hearing them in Vancouver in the late 60's as a seasoned, sharp band: Carmine Appice forging new ground as a drummer and of course their legendary bass player Tim Bogert. I've never seen faster fingers! Rounding out the band are Mark Stein and Vince Martell, pounding out those unforgettable and classic riffs. Listen and enjoy this one. Hear music history!
