Here he goes again!

Bonga requires no introduction. In this album he has outdone himself once again with an album that is certainly one of his best works to date. The songs captivate the listener right away and never let go. You will want to dance yourself tired, yet repeat songs like brukutu, mana minga, ginica, palanca bue, etc, and for those who think that bonga has gone commercial, abandoning his "freedom-and-rights-for-all" fighting principles, listen to bandada, bairro, makamba and think again. This album deserves no less than 5 stars just like Bonga, whose songs and albums are beyond the lusofonia. Buy, enjoy, share and you won't regret it.

Kuenda Bonga (born: Barcelo de Carvallo) is one of Angola's most important post-independence vocalists. A blend of Angolan, Portuguese and Brazilian influences, Bonga's music has been described as "Latin sentimentality with a touch of Gypsy and Flamenco". Originally a professional soccer player, Bonga attracted attention with his husky voice and pro-independence songs in the early '70s.
