Excerpts only

Bought two songs off this album and both songs were fading out at 1:23 and 1:46 respectively (for songs that are three times as long - I really should have looked at the play length). I went and bought the full songs from the artists directly.
It's a good list and the artists are well chosen but I can't recommend buying songs off this album. Go search for the artist name instead and you will find the full versions for even cheaper ($1.29 vs $0.99)

100 iTunes previews

It may seem ridiculous to complain about an album of 100 great pieces of music for 14 bucks but I was left quite underwhelmed by this one. Fully a third of the pieces are EXCERPTS. Why, why?! Why would you cut the Moonlight Sonata in half?! or Albinoni’s Adagio in G minor?! Many other pieces, while not technically excerpts, are very short samples plucked out of larger works. As the result, despite containing many wonderful pieces, the album feels very much like a collection of iTunes previews. I was expecting better when I bought it.
