One of the best

This is an amazing album. I like the way each track uses different instruments to bring out the mood. Sad a bit like Townes Van Zandt, deep voiced like Leonard Cohen but more musical than either. The tunes are catchy enough that you will find them stuck in your head and they aren't fluff.

perfect match

Every time I hear how to never be alone, my eyes fill up with tears. Then I hear its sunny somewhere and my spirit soars again with Andrew Bond’s ironic optimism.
This is an album that reveals its complexities only by repeated listening. The voices of the instrumental accompaniments are perfectly matched to feeling of each song. Cello, harmonica or saxophone, each adds a heart-rending layer of meaning to the vocals. Reminiscent of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, Andrew Bond is a storyteller and poet worth listening to again and again.
